What is integrity? According to our friend Google (we do offer SEO for luxury brands after all) integrity can be defined as, “the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.”.  This, accurate yet dry description, can also be surmised more by our own experiences and own expressions of integrity. As a luxury digital marketing agency we work with a range of clients and each is a chance to show our own personal and professional integrity. Integrity takes many forms and guises and can assist in developing trust and, especially within the luxury sphere, relationship management and the building of them thereof is very important. Solid and strong relationships allow honest appraisals and views that build trust and, speaking for our team, helps to develop openness and creativity. 

Acting with integrity not only has a “feel-good” factor or moral impetus, it can also have real-world benefits for one’s agency. Such as:

As a business, your reputation is integral to your success. Even more so within the luxury sphere where expectations are higher and client care even more important. Clients, suppliers, business partners, and investors all need to trust that you know what you're doing and are operating a sustainable business.

When you act with integrity, this helps build your reputation. Likewise, doing things that lack integrity can spell your quick demise. Integrity can be shown through speed of replies to communication, to offering honest and open feedback and views and supporting your clients and their needs as mich as possible.

America-based Adelphi University released research concluding that employees who saw their managers as having high integrity also had higher job engagement, job satisfaction, health, and, importantly,  life satisfaction.

It usually follows that happier employees will also be more productive ones. A company that is displaying integrity is more likely to produce higher quality products and services. This is particularly the case when that company is dedicated to addressing any and all issues to improve the client experience.

Not being on the level or treating everyone differently is a lot of work. You're presenting a different face to different people and will have to keep track of it all to remain consistent. When you have seamless integrity between your personal and professional life, this frees up a lot of time and energy and allows you to focus on what's important.

Clients appreciate ethical companies and will often award you accordingly. Ethical Consumer, which has been tracking consumer spending since 1999 in the UK, reports that spending through companies that are considered "ethical" has nearly doubled over the past seven years.
