And The Winner Is....

December 15, 2021

Welcome back to TLMA’s blog where we share the latest insights and developments from our agency. Much has changed since our last entry as we have been busily working with our clients across a variety of online channels. Given the current uncertainty in the world and the ever present threat of further lockdowns and restrictions, many of our clients both new and old have looked to harness and how they interact online. In today’s blog we examine the successful relaunch of a new website for our friends at Creative Awards London.

On Brand. On Budget. On Brief.

For over 40 years, Creative Awards London have produced bespoke awards for the world’s biggest brands and events. The dynamic company, situated in the City of London, can count design luminaries such as D&AD Awards, the iconic MTV Brats and Empire Film Awards amongst their impressive list of clients.

Channelling the company’s innate sense of design and style, our luxury marketing agency used the concept of clean design as a way to create a website that would not only look good but perform as needed across both mobile and desktop.

Shopify was chosen as the CMS system for two reasons. Versatility in customisation as well as its brilliant integrated sales platform - a market leader we believe. The previous incarnation of their website too used Shopify and the familiarity with the backend was a key request from the CAL team. Our design team further chose to create a clean look which enabled the bespoke awards and trophies to further stand out against the theme of the website. This uncluttered approach, coupled with an extensive menu system, allows users to easily browse and navigate the site without getting overwhelmed.

Navigation…

Given the wide examples of previous commissions, the choice was made to create a menu system that would direct users to their particular industry or interest. Based on our extensive market research from the luxury SEO agency side of our agency, our team discovered that many users look to either searches based around materials used, colours or industry. This insight allowed TLMA to develop the menu system that has lead to an increase in page views both from new visitors as well as the pages themselves working as landing pages.

A partnership.

On the redesign and relaunch of the website, chief designer at CAL Jack says,

“We are super happy with the new look of our website that will allow our clients to interact with ourselves in new ways. A key component of our business is our ability to showcase our designs. Previously, we struggled to present our works in a clean manner and through the new build this certainly is no longer the case. Likewise, as we continue to work with TLMA and develop this site further we are able to react to this new business landscape more proactively.”

With an expanding workshop, investment in new technologies and a new website, Creative Awards London are moving forward with the development of their post-Covid business. For more information about our digital marketing agency services, contact our team via hello@theluxurymarketingagency.com.
